Shut the world off for a minute just to keep myself from bailing on this all. Take me on road! Let’s for once be irresponsible. Make me a wanderer. Cause I know we’ve got a lot but it seems like everyone around me smiles more. Remind me of better times. Memories replaced like altered photographs. Another day of trying to stay awake, so hook me up and take me away. Don’t wanna play the game today, I’ve had enough, cause everyone around me just keeps asking me for everything and my patience is running low. And I probably look defeated, but I guess that’s how it is when you get old. But I can’t see past the bitter truth. As life goes on you can’t escape the battle wounds.
